Testing

To ensure that human protection and safety at work is not just a phrase, by providing our services we try to be helpful to manufacturers of personal protective equipment in achieving this challenging goal. Our task is to verify the properties of personal protective equipment in the testing laboratory so that the new product, or its innovation, fully utilizes its potential for safety, comfort and performance.

Highly qualified professionals build on the tradition of the shoe industry in the town of Partizánske, which dates back to the first half of the 20th century. Thanks to a long-term active approach and precision in implementing the latest testing methods and applicable legal regulations, we apply more than 40 years of experience in the field of testing to objectively assess the conformity of products before they are placed on the market in a certification body within the meaning of Regulation (EU) 2016/425 of the European Parliament and of the Council on personal protective equipment and repealing Council Directive 89/68/EEC.

The Testing Department is not limited to the field of personal protective equipment used to protect the feet, hands or body at work. Just as in the working environment, so in everyday life, products must meet the highest requirements for safety, comfort and performance. For this reason, we provide professional assessment services for legal entities and individuals.

Last but not least, we specialize in providing comprehensive services related to conformity assessment in the case of importing personal protective equipment into the EU from third countries.

The Testing Department, a notified, authorized and accredited person, will guide you through the entire process of professional assessment, conformity assessment and product certification.

Your trust in our services is a commitment for us, with which we want to contribute together to better protection of human health.

IMPORTANT DOCUMENTS

We care about the future of the environment.

Water, air, earth. Elements whose quality affects human life and society. At VIPO a.s. we are not indifferent to the state in which we leave them for future generations. Our development workers successfully apply their knowledge and experience so that their results can be successfully applied in practice and contribute to reducing environmental pollution and improving the quality of the production process.

Our efforts were devoted to the research and development of dispersion and colloidal systems, hydrolysates and hydrogels for pharmacy and medical cosmetics (industrial utility model No. 7244 – polymer dispersion mixtures based on animal proteins and lipids).

By researching the modification of the properties of polymer composites with bio-synthetic polymers, we contributed to the greening of the rubber and plastic industries (industrial utility model No. 5998 - collagen-based polymer composites).

The negative impact of chromium waste from the leather industry also had an impact on the BABICA landfill near the village of Bošany. The challenge in this task for our department was the chemical stabilization of Cr3+ (patent No. 288363 - Method of dechroming solid tannery waste).

Since 2018, we have worked together with partners on projects:

APVV-14-0506
Reduction of formaldehyde emissions from wood-based boards by environmentally progressive modification of polycondensation adhesives with biopolymers from leather waste, natural nanofillers, additives and activators.
APVV-15-0124
Isoconversion methods – theory and applications.
APVV-16-0177
Progressive modifications of wood surface, film-forming substances and their interactions at the phase interface.
APVV-20-0159
Research into the surface properties of wood and wood-based materials modified by CO2 laser radiation and low-temperature plasma.
APVV-19-0269
Research into the preparation of environmentally stable wood biocomposites using innovative processes of targeted modification of polycondensation adhesives with natural polymers and additives.
APVV-18-0378
Research into innovative processes for crosslinking formaldehyde in wood-based panels by environmentally progressive modification of aminoplastics with biopolymers and additives to support a sustainable circular bioeconomy.
APVV-17-0456
Thermical treatment of wood with saturated steam for the purpose of targeted and stable color change of the wood mass.
APVV-16-0177
Progressive modifications of wood surface, film-forming substances and their interactions at the phase interface.
Utility model application PUV 2021-39307
Preparation for reducing formaldehyde emissions in wood industry products
