The key objective of the chemical research and production department is the long-term customer satisfaction with our products and services.

The main product of the division is the production of industrial adhesives for a wide application area with application support. A highly-qualified research base with adequate technical and laboratory facilities is also suitable for this.

The second strength of the division is research and production in the field of rubber technology for products of technical rubber, car tires and recycling of worn rubber products.

Hot-melt adhesives

Thermoplastic adhesives applied in a molten state that quickly solidify upon cooling, creating strong and durable bonds.

Dispersion adhesives

They represent a modern, environmentally friendly solution for various industrial applications.

Vulcanizing cements

Specialized adhesives designed for repairing and bonding rubber materials through the vulcanization process.

RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT

Two basic directions

 

  1. Own research and development:
  • research and development of new types of adhesives to ensure competitiveness and sustainability in the adhesives market;
  • research and development of tailor-made adhesives according to customer requirements.
  1. Projects within the framework of calls from research and development agencies, structural funds, European and international project schemes and grants in cooperation with SAS institutes, mainly the Slovak Academy of Sciences, the Faculty of Chemical and Food Technology in Bratislava, Czech, Hungarian, Polish and Japanese universities and research organizations, focusing on:
  • research and development of original products and technological processes for applications in the tire industry using the latest knowledge in relevant scientific fields, e.g. current application of atmospheric plasma for surface treatment of brass-plated steel cords for the production of bead cords for automobile tires;
  • research and development of new technologies for joining various types of metallic and non-metallic materials with the possibility of use in the automotive and tire industries;
  • research, development and application of polymers from renewable sources – biopolymers;
  • research and development of technologies and products with a high proportion of recycled raw materials and materials.

The result of these activities is the introduction of new unique products and technologies in our own production and also in the production of our customers.
